ℹ️ Star Wars: Battlefront 2 (2005)
A support article for Star Wars: Battlefront 2 (2005).
Scope:
This guide will teach you how to set up SWBF2 (Star Wars Battlefront 2) and join multiplayer servers.
Prerequisites:
In order to join multiplayer games you need the following.
- The
latestversion of the game- ℹ️ Please note you will need a valid copy from Steam or GOG
- The following dependencies must be installed on your system
- SWBF2 Remaster - Download
Preparing the game:
i. Install all the required dependencies
i. Download your copy of SWBF2 from GOG or Steam respectively
iii. Download the SWBF2 Remaster installer
iv. Run the installer and follow the prompts

v. After running the above installer test your game by running it. If you need to set the resolution to widescreen, follow the detailed guide above, essentially you use a launch argument.
- SWBF2 launch argument:
/resolution 1920 1080
Joining a multiplayer match:
i. When your in-game create your userprofile and then click Multiplayer and wait for the master server to generate a list of available games
ii. You should see a list of servers available from all over - Our server is officially called Xevnet - AUS - https://xevnet.au
iii. Click the server and then click join
